One of the questions we hear the most is “which books do you read to learn about Seidr?”

David and I read many books and our home library is always growing. There isn’t one book about Seidr in existence that will tell you everything, and a book is not the same as learning Seidr with a community and a teacher. But books are an invaluable source of information and inspiration, that can lead to certain insights. And, of course: books enrich our lives! If you are like us, you know that reading a book in your pajamas on the couch with a cup of tea can be like heaven!

In this blog post, we will share all the titles in our home library with you because we want to help you find information and inspiration.

The list below is always growing because we are constantly researching certain topics to expand our knowledge and fuel our hunger for information. Be sure to check back now and then for new additions!

We have categorized our books according to the subjects that interest us. This means that our library covers many topics and not only books about Seidr.

The library list mainly includes books written in Dutch, English, and German. Sometimes there’s a translation available, sometimes not. Please find out for yourself where to buy the books made available on this list and if it has been translated. Some books are very hard to find or rare.

And: because a book is on our library list it doesn’t automatically mean that we think that it is good or that we support the views expressed in it. Reading as much as possible helps you to form an opinion.
